Mr. Orenthial "O.J." Brigance, age 56, transitioned from labor to reward on August 17, 2026. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: a beloved wife, Chanda Minor-Brigance, devoted parents, Marcus and Barbara Brigance, and a host of supportive family members, friends, and colleagues.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, a homegoing celebration for Mr. O.J. Brigance will be held at Evangel Cathedral, 13901 Central Avenue, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where the Brigance family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with services to follow.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, a homegoing celebration for Mr. O.J. Brigance will be held at Silverlake Church, 1865 Cullen Blvd., in Pearland, Texas, where the Brigance family will receive family and friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with services to follow.
